Follow the weekly progress at the end of week nine of S M Berry Building Contractors Ltd fifteen week home extension project in Hartley, Kent
Kent and London's Best Builder, S M Berry Building Contractors Ltd, completed week nine of their two storey side extension project in Hartley, Kent and they are still confident that they will complete within 15 weeks. Follow their progress as they endeavour to complete on time and on budget yet again .....
Scott Berry and his team began the week by batoning and tiling the porch roof. The internal partitions were put in place and first the external skin of brickwork for the new door opening was removed leaving the internal skin inside the house to be removed after the windows were installed by Blackfen Windows later in the week. A new door lining was installed in the existing back doorway. The electric / gas meters had a new housing built around them and work was begun on the downstairs cloakroom by Dave the plumber. Scott and his team broke through and made good the new opening into the existing hallway after the window was fitted and the scaffolding was removed.
Next week the plastering, plumbing and electrics will all get underway.
