Scott, Elliot and Jed began the week by completing the insulation and then began to plasterboard the first floor of the extension. They finished the plaster boarding on Tuesday and began beading and plastering on Wednesday.

Plastering of all walls and ceilings to the first floor of the new extension was completed on Thursday and Scott cut out the trench work for the new drain run.  The lead aprons under the windows were fitted.

On Friday the new drain was laid and the outside skin of brickwork in the existing front façade was chopped out and a lintel put in place adding an additional window opening to the existing front bedroom. A window opening to the rear façade was also chopped out of the outside skin of cladding to make a new window opening into the existing bathroom ready for the installation of the new windows next Tuesday.

Everyone enjoyed their special treat of doughnuts on Friday from their very generous client, along with their constant supply of biscuits - Elliot's addiction has not been allowed to diminish!

Scott was pleased with the good progress that was made this week toward the completion of the  extension project in nine weeks time but knows that next week is going to be hectic if they are to achieve all they need to as they will be one day short due to the bank holiday weekend.
