Week Three of theTwo Storey Side Extension Project in Bexley, Kent |
Follow the day by day progress of the third week of S M Berry Building Contractors Ltd twelve week project
The scaffold was erected on Saturday morning allowing Scott and his team to make an early start on Monday. Building work began on the first storey of the home extension project in Bexley, Kent.
If you have been following Scott's progress you will know that he is slightly ahead of schedule even though at times the weather has been less than kind and the second Monday was a Bank Holiday.

monday
Scott and Elliot started this week by laying the floor joists and they are now ready to start building the first storey.
Jed unloaded the new delivery of blocks ready for tomorrow and Chester took a liking to the new pile of sand!
tuesday
More brick and Block work....
wednesday
Today the brickwork was laid up to and including the oversailed snapped header course.
Jed and Elliot chopped the bricks to be used in the oversailed course and played Rugby with Chester and his new ball!

The block work above the oversailed snapped header course was built up to lintel height. Scott and his team are well ahead of schedule now and will pitch the roof next week.

Message: We had an extension by Scott and his two lovely lads. Wouldn't recommend anyone else but these guys. Always friendly, polite and easy to talk to - even took their shoes off when they came in! Building work is never a good experience but it was made so much easier with the attitude of these hard working men. Thanks.
